Radek Krolczyk versteht nicht wirklich, wieso man einen Bildband über eine Kunstform veröffentlicht, die seiner Ansicht nach mit einer derart dicken Staubschicht bedeckt ist, dass Innovation hier nicht mehr zu entdecken ist und sein wird. Das wiederaufkeimende Interesse an der Collage, entwickelt von Georges Braque und Pablo Picasso zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts, schreibt Krolczyk lediglich der nostalgischen Sehnsucht "nach der Zeit vor Photoshop" zu. Interessant war die Collage vielleicht zu Zeiten von Dadaismus und Surrealismus, jetzt ist sie es jedenfalls nicht mehr, weiß er.
